Prolapsed Uterus From Rowing

And after Christmas ...

I thought that I would not describe the world - in the sense that I am not able to give in the words of the then attended the festive days. But I'll write a little, however, because I really want to share with you this.

First of all for a few days - from Thursday to Sunday - there was a festive atmosphere in the city. The more that this year with us celebrate Orthodox Easter. In addition, stable Jewish Passover. The festive atmosphere marked the różnowyznaniowy crowd the narrow streets of Old Town and ... increased strength of the Israeli police and army, guarding the right.

Actually lived from liturgy to liturgy. between was basically just waiting. Without any pre-Christmas bustle.

But (if) one by one ...

HOLY THURSDAY

the morning pobiegłyśmy with Grazyna the Chrism Mass with devotion to the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre. We had a pretty good spot. It was very solemn.

the afternoon we went to Zion, the Upper Room, where he held rather short (especially as the realities of the local liturgical), but extremely moving service. It struck me during the feeling of universality of the Church, especially when odmawialiśmy "Our Father" - each in their own language. He became such a holy uproar. I was extremely touched. And has led me to associate with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit when the apostles "began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance" (Acts 2, 4). The more that we were in the upper room ...!

Just felt the evening, when Stand in Gethsemane (sat with Grazyna almost at the altar of rock), the resounding words of the Gospel and prayer in different languages.

Anyway, I realized that I experience the universality of the Church here all the time. Because I still meet people I pass, or even pray with me or beside me, but not in my language.

The vigil at the Basilica of agony passed out candles Kidron Valley - the path that Jesus carried out after the capture of Gethsemane (And on the way we looked closely celebrating many Jews, returning through the Gate Gnojna the Wailing Wall).

We arrived at the church. Peter in Gallicantu (even write about it.) With its preserved ancient stairs that may remember the times of Jesus, which would tell them that the Lord came down from the Upper Room to Gethsemane, and then carried him this way to the palace of Caiaphas (photo did the other day, during the Triduum, I did not use the camera):

Here, too, can be seen in the basement of an ancient cistern, which may have held Jesus to the morning meeting of the Council:

GOOD FRIDAY

Although I got home late, broke up on Friday morning to run to the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre in the liturgy of the Passion of Christ (because of the existing status quo here is it's so early). For its duration doors of the basilica - the moment before open - have been closed for 3 hours (no one could neither enter nor exit.) I managed to live with this liturgy on Golgotha, even though they were the crowds.

During the day I was in the Basilica of the Holy Cross Adoration of the relics exhibited in the chapel of the Blessed Sacrament. I sat very close and it was fine.

And in the evening (also in the basilica) crowds (including me) gathered in the so-called. funeral procession, during which the figure of Jesus of Golgotha \u200b\u200bis worn, folded the Stone of Anointing, anointed with oils and then transferred to the Tomb. It's very moving ...

waiting for launch services in nearby Stone of the Unction, watched once again set him mozaikom. And saw an angel, who mourns the picture of Jesus from the cross, but it looks a bit like - oh, I know that's not appropriate to associate ... - Smarkał in large handkerchief:

Before the procession at the Basilica there was a buzz (which is by no means died out during the prayer). Okay - very strongly - Israeli police watched, for which it is not a sacred space, so the young policemen and policewomen chewing gum and called out loud (to the latter, moreover, do not be surprised, somehow had to hear this noise ...). Finally, the closed doors of the basilica. And when he opened them again after the celebration, the crowd at the center began to flow out while waiting to enter the crowd began to push inside. I found myself among the crowd and then the first time really freaked out that something is me or someone else will - that it can do without stratowania. But that has not happened, and after a while I was on the square, where I could safely go home.

In general, the entire celebration of the Basilica of the tomb seem to contradict any security considerations. People are crowded, fall into columns, or other available items (benches, walls, some metal racks), currents in different directions, and around the burn candles, which in fact involved in the liturgies of holding it in his hands. And yet somehow it all works ...

HOLY SATURDAY

On Saturday I did a little Christmas shopping, the evening was a new Polish Home on the chamber (about 30-35 people ) Easter liturgy. First time going through them so quickly (lasting less than 1.5 hours) and in such a small circle. There was a very solemn, but it was in Polish!

And one of the readings was - as always - about the sacrifice of Isaac. You know, you can get here on this plate with the presentation of biblical events. Sacrifice of Isaac looks like this (not right away I knew it, what it is):

EASTER

On Sunday, the first zasiadłyśmy Grazyna for Christmas breakfast. The former include wreaths with egg:

something nazwałyśmy grandmother (and what it tastes like a grandmother's yeast with nuts):

i. .. fragrant (apparently only those should be bought) and sweet strawberries:

nietutejszego and also something that was a bit of our language, a chocolate egg:

Only white sausages terribly missed us ...

Then we went to the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre in the solemn, beautiful and joyful Eucharist with procession. It got so joyfully! And that beautiful sun was shining and it was warm, so I could put the dress she specially for this occasion, I brought here.

After Christmas (well, as far as the pilgrim) lunch, we went a little bit of Jesus in poadorować "our" chapel, then a walk. But, but, just, meet Grażynkę (It really equal to his grandmother! Reporter here at issue):
And in the evening we met Miriam and zwinęłyśmy it to us for dinner.

It was really amazing - so amazing, it's probably the best word - Christmas ...
