GUEST: Claudio Gabis
And in this new shipment of the " NoTanDistintos " had the honor of having as guest one of the inventors of rock and blues Argentine guitarist Claudio Gabis, Manal member of one of the groups that initiated the move in the 60's and has become an indispensable place in the history of popular music in Argentina. With it, visiting Buenos Aires and who lives in Madrid, Spain for years, we reviewed much of his career, his beginnings, his work with The Heavy and other bands, their stay in Brazil where he played with the likes of monsters Hermeto Pascoal, Egberto Gismonti Ney Matogrosso and in the United States to study at Berklee nothing less, and Spain, all part of the legacy alternated with music that has given us over all these years ... A missed note can be found on this blog a few lines above.
As if this were not enough, we also had the opportunity to interview by phone notable Argentine jazz pianist, Manuel Fraga, days before his trip to Germany to perform with his trio at the Festival of Dusseldorf.
